There are many good ways which I saw from teacher Lai.

 

1. She used wave dance to warm up. It’s very interesting.

2. Before teaching the lesson, she used examples in daily life to start and make students familiar with and remember what she would prepare to teach later.

3. She let students practice dialogue in pairs or groups to make them discuss and participate.

4. She is an enthusiastic teacher. She kept students’ eyes on her successfully.

5. She controlled time very well.

6. She made mistakes sentences to let students find out.

7. After she taught the grammar and sentences in the textbook, she would make a new sentence; then, let any volunteers to make same sentences and say to everyone.

8. She gave volunteers chocolate as small pleasant to cheer them actively answer.

She said, “Is there any volunteers who wants to say the answers will have something nice to eat?” “Always chocolate because I like chocolate!” “Anyone else? Come on!” “Are they right?”

9. Ending was perfect because she reviewed and said the key point again.

10. She speoke English first and most, sometimes translated in Chinese. If students didn’t have any response, she would repeat in Chinese again.

11. She would let students’ names to make examples and sentences; then, they would laugh and think it was funny; however, they would remember the grammar and sentences.

12. It is easy to find out teacher Lai have good and close relationship with her students.

 

 

 

There are many good ways which I saw from teacher Chen.

 

1. She used a computer and powerpoint to show many roles of
Egypt and Roman mythology.

2. The pictures and roles are what she found in Internet to explain the story about the textbook. She also told students about the ending of the mythology which the textbook didn’t say.

3. She spoke English mostly and seldom translated in Chinese.

4. She let students listen to the CD which show them English dialogue to train their listening ability.

5. When she explained the sentence of this article, she would also talk about the grammar and clause.

6. She would let students’ names to make examples and sentences; then, they would laugh and think it was funny; however, they would remember the grammar and sentences.

7. I saw teacher Chen kept excellent class atmosphere to let students interest in the textbook.
